What’s a trail without peddling uphill and what better way to test yourself closer to Bengaluru City than scaling Nandi Hills? Cycling to Nandi Hills is a popular getaway with numerous cyclists thronging this place over the weekend given the good roads and the challenge of scaling heights to test one’s cycling ability.
The trail starts at Hebbal heading towards Nandi hills, the roads are really good, with the fastest of motor vehicles opting for the elevated speedway, the service roads though aren’t as bereft with traffic are still manageable to wade through. However the real challenge doesn’t start until the uphill trek of 8 kms from the Nandi Hill base to the hill top, which is 400 meters of ascendancy and has over 30 curves and 5-6 hairpin bends, this trail poses different challenges while ascending from descending. They surely test every bit of energy while going up and every bit of nerve while coming down. It demands a lot of perseverance and skill to complete the trail.
Cyclists will have to assemble at Esteem Mall, Hebbal at 06:30 AM IST from where you’ll start your cycling trail, there will be ample stopovers to provide you with enough breaks to recharge your batteries. The trail ends when you return back to stop at Esteem Mall.

This trail (Cycling to Nandi Hills) is a Level 3 cycling trek covering an approx 95 kms of cycling distance with a cost of Rs. 650/- (Includes: Breakfast, Refreshments, Lunch, Mechanic Support, Support Vehicle, Mentor Cyclist & Medical Support) (if any).
